It’s been a month since North Perth Mayor Todd Kasenberg was met with pure silence from Perth County council regarding an anti-racism charter and committee.
However despite the silence, discussion and progress is being made on inclusion and diversity. Mayor Kasenberg says as great as this community is, there is always greater.
“We can make it greater. That’s been a signal message of my time as mayor. We are great, at the same time there are things we can do to be an even better community.” said Kasenberg
Discussions of diversity, inclusion and racism started when a confederate flag was seen flying in the county.
