Perth County Council has adopted the 2023 Capital and Operating budgets in principal at its regular meeting today.
Along with it comes a 9.06% increase in the levy of just over $1.6 million dollars from 2022. This brings the total levy to $19.7 million dollars.
The Warden Rhonda Eghoetz says that they are excited to begin the term of Council with strong support for program delivery for the region.
She adds that County Council has done an efficient job reviewing and reaching a decision with an approved budget.
