A Stratford man and Wroxeter woman are facing possession and trafficking charges following an investigation between Perth and Huron County OPP.
The end result with a traffic stop in North Perth with the seizure of $72,000 worth of suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl.
At 1am Thursday April 8th Perth County OPP stopped a vehicle they identified during the investigation on Main Street in Palmerston. Officers arrested both occupants and searched them where they discovered both suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Police also seized a BB gun, drug-trafficking tools such as packaging materials, a digital scale and cellphones.
A 32 year Wroxter woman has been charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking. A 36 year old Stratford man faces the same charge alongside 2 counts of failing to comply with a release order.
Both were released from Custody with a May 31st court date in Goderich
