It was a big year for PC Connect ridership.
Since first launching a few years ago, ridership has grown significantly on an average of 135 per cent year over year.
A report brought to Perth County council shows in 2023 PC Connect facilitated 30,704 rides.
The most common used route by riders was Route A which in October alone saw 487 rides. Route A completed 7259 rides, with Route B seeing 4220 total rides.
Staff sent a request for funding from the Ministry of Transportation in September for just under $160,000 to cover the projected project deficit in 2024.
The request is still being reviewed at this time.
