Fergus’ Patrick Anderson is calling it a career in wheelchair basketball.
The well decorated athlete is moving to coaching where he will start a new wheelchair basketball program in Fergus starting this summer.
The three time Paralympic gold medalist at 45 year old ends his career widely considered one of the best wheelchair basketball players in the world.
In a release, Anderson says over his career he got much support from friends and family over the years including from his parents and wife.
On top of gold medals, Anderson is also a four time national champion with the National Wheelchair Basketball Association with the New York Rollin Knicks.
