While Justin Trudeau could call an election any day now, opposition is going full gear.
Both Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh have been traveling across the country.
O’Toole announcing in Waterloo on Wednesday his plan to cut the income tax rate in half on new patented technologies developed in Canada. O’Toole also pledging to connect Canadians with high-speed internet by 2025.
Singh and NDP party have said their priorities include paid sick leave, universal pharmacare, rapid emissions reduction and canceling student debt.
Trudeau has been across the country in recent weeks as the Liberals sign child-care funding deals with various Premiers in Canada.
