With this week being Paramedic Services Week there is no better time to explore the key role they are playing during the current Covid-19 pandemic.
Huron Perth Public Health’s Medical Officer of Health Dr. Miriam Klassen says this on their role.
“Paramedics have been such a fabulous partner to us throughout this pandemic. They have been instrumental in testing in particular groups that might have trouble with access, temporary foreign workers and testing just in general. They have also bee instrumental in our vaccine program. They have been helping with mobile clinics but also our mass vaccination clinics.”
Paramedic Services Week runs until Saturday.
