The Town of Minto is reminding residents of Palmerston are that due to scheduled maintenance the Palmerston Water Tower is out of service.
There is currently a ban on non-essential use of water such as lawn watering, car washing, any other unnecessary use of water until the tower is back online.
The maintenance is done once every 15 to 20 years and is important to maintain the infrastructure in the town to provide safe drinking water.
