Palmerston Resident Points Replica Firearm

Accused to appear in Guelph court

A Palmerston resident is facing a slew of charges after an incident involving a replica firearm.

On July 11th, Wellington County OPP responded to an incident outside a residence in Palmerston on Jane Street.

One person was reported to be in possession of what appeared to be a handgun or imitation handgun.

Officers responded and arrested the 23 year old with no injuries in the incident.

The 23 year old from Palmerston has been charged with Possession of an Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Pointing a Firearm.

The accused will appear in Guelph court at later date.
