Palmerston’s pedestrian bridge at Lions Heritage Park is now reopened.
The bridge was closed back in June for repairs after issues were found with the bridge after inspection.
Issues found included the integrity of several columns on the structure had been compromised.
The bridge is commonly used in the town for recreational walkers.
The bridge will remain open until the regular winter closure.
The Town of Minto spent around $68,000 to make the fixes to the bridge.
