The Palmerston & District Hospital Foundation received its first “Five over Five Club” level of support.
Dylan Richardson and Chole Kaye from Arthur and Palmerston respectively have made the pledge to donate $5000 over five years to the hospitals MRI campaign.
Chole in a release states having an MRI machine in the area just makes sense.
Dylan and Chloe both encouraged other young adults to consider giving to the MRI+ Campaign.
“We know $5000 sounds like a lot,” Chloe said, “but it breaks down to about $83 a month, which is about $2.75 per day.”
They both agreed that young people often have numerous priorities to save money for.
Dylan said, “We hope to own a home in about five years, so we’ve been saving up for that, and only spending money on things that are important. This is important,”
