The Palmerston Lions have pledged support to the Palmerston Hospital MRI Campaign.
The Lions on December 12th presented a cheque for $60,000 directly to support the campaign.
The hospital says they continue to get closer to their $8 million goal.
The hospital has been working towards their goal of an MRI machine to help reduce wait times, eliminate the need to travel for service and ease the pressure on other hospitals.
