The Town of Minto held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially welcome the completion of the Palmerston Arena and ball diamond upgrades.
The $2 million project came with renovated dressing rooms for the arena and upgraded LED lighting for the diamonds.
The project was funded with the help of a $1.7 million grant from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program which Minto applied for back in 2019.
The ribbon cutting also marked Mayor George Bridge’s last one as he sets for retirement.
