Paid Sick Leave Shot Down Again

Coteau adding he has his party will continue to fight for paid sick leave

Ontario Bill 247, which would have required employers to provide personal emergency leave for employees was voted down.

The bill was shot down 55-20 with Randy Pettapiece among the nays.

The proposal would have provided up to 10 paid leaves per year for personal illness, injuries or medical emergencies.

Liberal MPP Michael Coteau says the governments failure to provide paid sick leave is unreasonable.

Coteau adding he and his party still intend to fight for paid sick leave.
