The second annual Mayor’s Charity Bonspiel has raised $8000 for local youth programs and organizations.
Held on November 21st at the Mount Forest Curling Club, the event brought in 48 curlers to raise funds for local community organizations.
The funds will split with $2500 given to the Centre Wellington Foundation, Wellington North Youth Fund, $1500 for the Saugeen Student Start Up Program, $500 for Wellington North Youth Programs, $500 for Wellington 4H and $500 each for lunch programs in six local schools.
