The pandemic has put a big strain on opioid related deaths in Huron-Perth.
This will be the main focus of a virtual open house hosted by police services and many others in the region tonight.
An opioid crisis was already gripping the province in 2019 but over the last year has seen the crisis get worse.
The event will go live on OPP West Region’s Twitter and Facebook at 7pm.
The event will reveal regional stats and to learn more about local substance abuse issues and avenues for support with Huron Perth Public Health, Choices for Change and the Tanner Steffler Foundation.
