The OPP West Region released its 2022 Festive Ride numbers for over the holiday season.
This year’s campaign saw a total of 278 impaired driving charges laid, which is 2 down from last year.
It also saw warn-range suspensions drop from 55 to 49 this year.
The detachments with the most impaired charges were Middlesex, Oxford and Essex with 43, 43 and 29 respectively. South Bruce and Huron had the least with 4 and 7.
The OPP say they remain committed to ensuring Ontario roads are safe from drug and alcohol impaired drivers.
