Huron County OPP is warning residents of a CRA scam making its rounds locally.
Emails are circulating of those posing to be the CRA with money to be deposited into your bank account.
A provided link requires you to enter your account information and password and once done, fraudsters then have access to your accounts.
OPP say to never click links if you are unsure of the sender and if it sounds too good to be true, its likely because it is.
The CRA will also never provide links with their usual emails simply asking you to check your account.
