OPP across the West Region are launching the Drive Smart: Keep it Safe Campaign which is aimed to tackling stunt driving and illegally modified vehicles on the roads.
The campaign which runs until September 29th will see police out in increased presence to tackle the issues of stunt driving which includes speeding and aggressive maneuvers that pose a significant threat to everyone on the road.
Illegally modified vehicles can compromise safety through impaired visibility and handling issues.
Drivers caught engaging in stunt driving or operating illegally modified vehicles can face substantial fines, demerit points and vehicle impoundment.
