On November 11th at around 2:15pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a weapons call in Fergus.
It was reported a young person had a weapon and was in the proximity of a high school in town.
Police say there was no threat to public safety with no reported injuries as investigation remains ongoing.
Centre Wellington District High School was placed under a hold and secure on Friday afternoon as it was reported an altercation near the high school involving an individual who was not a student and reports with them carrying a weapon.
