This morning at around 8:15am, Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a motor vehicle in a ditch on Wellington Road 7 just south of Elora.
OPP were joined with Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services and local fire departments attended the scene.
The lone occupant was taken to local hospital with reasons unrelated to the collision where they were pronounced deceased.
The Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario continues to assist with investigation.
