It’s been a busy last week for Perth County OPP who responded to over 100 traffic related incidents between January 19th to the 25th.
Perth County faced a severe weather event which caused multiple accidents, left drivers stranded with lengthy highway closures, particularly Highway 23 from Palmerston to Elginfield and Highway 8 from Stratford to Goderich.
Of the numbers OPP responded to this included 45 crashes, 53 traffic hazards and 5 abandoned vehicles.
Detachment Commander Tyler Stewart says crews responded to this event with professionalism and teamwork, ensuring the continued safety of roadways.
