Wellington County OPP responded to 3 opiate overdoses in North Wellington and Centre Wellington over the weekend.
Police say luckily with the help of naloxone, none of the overdoses were fatal but are issuing a public safety alert due to the number of overdoses in a short period of time.
Wellington County OPP say anyone using unregulated drugs should use caution, never use alone and have Narcan readily available.
Anyone suffering from serious illness after consuming a narcotic should call 911, head to a local emergency room or attend a walk in clinic immediately.
