Huron County OPP are reminding the public about the offences you can get for not properly clearing snow and ice.
As part of the Highway Traffic Act, no person can deposit snow or ice onto a roadway without permission in writing to do so from the Ministry or road authority responsible for maintenance of the road.
OPP say instead to pile snow on your property, be mindful of your neighbours and not push snow onto their property, to do not block curbs and keep fire hydrants clear so emergency services can access them quickly.
