OPP communications continue to receive hundreds of calls to 911 regarding non-emergency related issues.
Many are calling 911 to seek information about the pandemic and new restrictions announced. OPP are again reminding everyone, 911 is not for information regarding the pandemic and is for emergencies only.
“Remember there are other people having emergencies who need that line and seek out information from other avenues.”
