It was quite scene Wednesday morning on Highway 8 with OPP officers hanging off the side of a transport. It all started shortly after 8am when several people called Huron County OPP saying a transport was traveling erratically and moving around from lane to lane near Seaforth.
Officers spotted the vehicle but the driver did not pull over. Spike strips were deployed and although several tires deflated the truck kept going. As the truck was approaching Clinton and several school zones an officer jumped on the side of the truck and another officer helped them into the truck and get the driver out of the cab.
Officers believe the driver was having a medical incident but are currently investigating.
