Wellington County OPP continue to urge the public to be cautious as more scams has target seniors.
On March 6th police were contacted by a senior in Minto who said they got a call from someone supposedly with an energy company who was offering a seniors energy rebate and requested to come to the seniors house.
The senior who was alert contacted their utility companies and found out it was a scam.
Police say if something sounds too good to be true, it likely is.
