Huron County OPP are investigating theft of 30,000 baby chicks.
On April 20th officers received a report of 15 day old baby chicks taken sometime overnight on April 19th-20th between 3:30pm-2:20am.
Police say the theft of the chicks occurred at a farm in South Huron.
The total value of the lost baby chicks is valued at $42,000.
