Wellington County OPP are turning to the public in trying to find two suspects in recent distraction thefts.
On November 25th at around 5:30pm, OPP responded to a report a theft in Fergus.
At around 2:30pm a victim attended a grocery store on St David Street North when two men followed them where its believed the victims debit card pin was comprised during checkout.
The victim returned home being followed by the suspects when one suspect approached the victim, saying they lost their dog and while being distracted a second suspect entered the victims vehicle, stealing their debit and credit card with one withdrawal of $400 made and many other declined withdrawals.
