Wellington County OPP is turning to the public to help find a suspect involved in a theft at a golf course.
On October 14th at around 8:30pm, Wellington County OPP got a call from a Guelph resident over the theft of a wallet while at Guelph-Eramosa golf course earlier in the day.
Surveillance footage found an unidentified suspect remove a wallet from a golf bag before leaving the scene in a grey or silver SUV.
The victim later found three purchases were made in a foreign country totaling $10,000.
Police say the suspect is a caucasian man, middle aged with an average build with facial hair and wearing a black hat, white shirt with a blue vest, black pants and white shoes.
The suspect had no golf clubs with him. Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP.
