Perth County OPP have collected some data from the long weekend, including three impaired drivers over the long weekend.
On July 31st, OPP were alerted to a vehicle on Road 124 in Perth East, when they arrived they found the occupant was sleeping. A 29 year old Howick was charged with Operation While Impaired and Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 plus.
OPP were called to a possible impaired driver in Listowel on August 1st after 12pm, police charged a 39 year old with Operation While Impaired and Possession of Cocaine.
On August 2nd just before 2pm, OPP were called on a possible impaired driver when a vehicle left the roadway then left the scene. A 35 year old from Listowel was charged with Operation While Impaired.
All accused will appear in a Stratford Court at a later date. All were given a 90 license suspension and 7 day vehicle impoundment.
