OPP are investigating a theft from a vehicle in Ariss.
On March 10th at around 11:45am, Wellington County OPP responded to an overnight theft at a home.
It was reported the night prior at around 11:45pm, a woman exited a dark coloured pick up truck driven by another suspect with the woman then walking down the victim’s driveway, accessing their vehicle and taking personal documents and then left in the truck.
Police say there are a few tips to keep in mind to decrease your odds of being a victim including to lock your doors, roll up your windows, keep valuables out of sight and keep registration and proof of insurance in your wallet or purse and not the glove box.
