OPP Investigating Armed Robbery in Fergus

Wellington County OPP are investigating after a robbery in Fergus.

On July 18th at around 6:40pm, OPP responded to the robbery at a business on Tower Street South, it was reported two persons armed with handguns entered the business and stole around $20,000 worth of cellphones.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The suspects are described to have dark complexions, around 6 feet tall with slim builds wearing black hoodies and black masks.

They were seen leaving in a grey, newer model Honda Civic hatchback with a 2nd vehicle described as a light grey new model Volkswagen Jetta also believed to be involved.

It’s believed the suspects and vehicles were in the Millburn Boulevard area both prior to and after the robbery.

Residents are asked to check their surveillance footage.
