Wellington County OPP are looking for those to take part in the third annual Citizen’s Police Academy.
This academy is a chance for those to learn about policing in a way very few get to experience without becoming a sworn member of the OPP.
Applicants will take part in sessions led by various specialty units such as Canine, Emergency Response and Major Crime.
This offers a big look into the policing and offers a great chance for those to get the inner workings of policing for those thinking of a career in law enforcement.
The free program will run every Tuesday night starting March 24th until May 5th from 6-7:30pm at the Fergus OPP detachment.
