Huron County OPP has arrested a 22 year old from Central Huron after police spotted a stolen truck.
On November 14th just before noon, Huron-Perth Community Street Crimes Unit alongside Huron County OPP and West Region K-9 were patrolling in Seaforth when they observed a driver known to be prohibited with a further check finding they were operating a stolen truck.
Officers blocked the vehicle in and caught the suspect nearby after they climbed a fence to avoid police.
As a result the 22 year faces a slew of charges including;
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000,
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000,
– Carry Concealed Weapon,
– Possession of Methamphetamine,
– Operation while Prohibited – (four counts)
– Fail to Comply with Probation – (five counts).
The accused was held for a bail hearing nad remanded into custody with a court date in Goderich.
