OPP Charge Rockwood Resident in Child Sexual Exploitation Case

Parents reminded to discuss internet safety with their kids

Members of the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Digital Forensics Unit and Wellington County detachment have arrested and charged a Rockwood resident following an online child sexual exploitation investigation.

On January 26th, police executed a search warrant at a home in Rockwood and seized several devices and arrested and charged a 31 year old with two counts of possession of child pornography.

Parents are reminded to take a proactive approach to help protect their children from online sexual exploitation and speak to their kids regarding internet safety.
