Perth County OPP have charged a North Perth resident following a disturbance.
On November 19th at around 4:20pm, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the municipality.
It was determined one person involved had assaulted the other with the victim taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Investigation also revealed the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused.
As a result, a 19 year old from North Perth was arrested and charged with Sexual Assault, Assault with a Weapon and Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
