Police say a OPP vehicle was damaged and storm drain covers were removed in Wingham leading to charges against a 28 year old man.
On March 19th, police investigated damage done to a police vehicle just after 10:20pm which was parked and unattended.
Police located a suspect who fled on foot but was arrested after a struggle. Investigation also found the suspect moved storm drain covers, creating a hazard for drivers and pedestrians.
A 28 year old man of North Huron has been charged with Mischief Under $5000, Mischief Obstructing, Interrupt or Interferes with Lawful Use, Enjoyment or Operation of Property and Resisting an Officer.
The accused was released from custody and given a court date next month.
