You’ll be getting one less reminder in your mailbox.
The Ministry of Government and Consumer Services will no longer mail notices for residents to renew their driver’s license, plate stickers or health cards which are set to expire on or after March 1st 2022.
The government will instead opt to only remind citizens with digital reminders.
The move is set to save up to $29 million over 5 years in postage and mailing costs which officials say will be reinvested into education.
Residents who wish to receive digital reminders can opt in by calling 1-800-267-8097.
You will be given the option to receive your notice with a phone call or text message.
