The Ontario government says they will track down individuals who have been attempting to sell COVID-19 test online.
Minister of Government and Consumer Services, Ross Romano said the province is working to track down and fine those who are charging what they call unfair prices for necessary goods.
This comes following reports of rapid antigen tests, which can produce a result in as quickly as 20 minutes were found to be selling for hundreds of dollars on sites such as Kijiji.
Rapid COVID-19 tests have been in high demand across the province, a select few of LCBO’s and many local chamber of commerce were offering free COVID-19 testing kits.
