With February in, the price of milk has gone up.

While the Canadian Dairy Commission increased prices for milk by eight per cent to start this month, it mostly looks that provincial marketing boards have hiked the price for fluid milk more.

At least in Ontario, neither Dairy Farmers of Ontario or the Ontario Farm Products Marketing Commission are sharing how much the fluid milk price paid farmers has gone up.

The price at the grocery store can certainly be felt as well, a feel of 15 per cent.

Skim milk powder has rose by 22 per cent with whey powder by 59 per cent.

Loblaws says their Toronto based stores have hiked the price of four litre bags of milk from $4.69 to $5.39.

There are other stores across the province which have seen the rise as well.
