The Ontario Government has released more details surrounding their new Provincial Budget.
The budget, entitled “Ontario’s Action Plan; Protect Support & Recover” outlined $45 billion in support over the next three years, prioritizing health care, long-term care and financial relief for families, seniors, businesses and workers.
The battle against Covid 19 also received an additional $1.4 billion to expand testing and increase case and contact management.
Hospitals will see $2.5 billion more to cut the backlog of surgeries and to purchase additional flu vaccines.
Mental health will see $176 million in new funding.
