While a number of PED cases in the Ontario swine industry still are active, the Ontario Pork Congress’ 50th anniversary event in Stratford is still on.
Due to active cases however there will be no live hogs at the event for the trade show.
The show however will still be open with 128 exhibitors, educational speakers and a kids fun zone.
OPC says the current challenges in the industry with disease is a reminder for the importance of bio security.
The 50th anniversary trade show runs on June 21st and 22nd at the Stratford Rotary Complex.
