The outright ban of cellphones in schools across Ontario could be reality while the government also looks at restricting social media for kids.
Ontario Education Minister Paul Calandra while speaking with reporters on Tuesday says they’re reflecting on a wider ban on cellphones as evidence is becoming more and more clear that phone use in schools has become a problem.
Calandra while responding to Manitoba’s recent move on banning kids from using social media says they are looking at something similar but will work with the federal government with respect to a broader social media ban but for kids under a certain age.
