The provincial government is investing close to $2 million in funding to help support local municipalities deliver critical services, create longer term housing solutions and keep vulnerable people safe.
In a release, MPP Lisa Thompson saying its important to protect our most vulnerable, adding this will play a big part in Huron and Bruce. Bruce County will be receiving $1,051,200 with Huron County to receive $826,100.
This funding is part of the province’s additional $307 million investment to help municipalities and Indigenous community partners respond to COVID-19.
This adds onto the $765 million of Social Services Relief Funding for a total support to communities to over $1 billion.
