Ontario Infrastructure Fund sees Perth-Wellington receiving additional $6.7 million

Funding will be used for such things as roads, bridges, water and wastewater infrastructure

 

The Ontario Government is making another investment in local infrastructure. Through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund, Perth-Wellington will receive more than $6.9 million dollars across 11 municipalities to address local infrastructure needs.

Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says that the funds will be critical for building and repairing roads, bridges, water and waste water infrastructure.

The total investments in municipalities across the Perth-Wellington Region are illustrated below.

Larue Scott, Provincial Minister of Infrastructure says that by investing in infrastructure projects the government is strengthening and building communities. She continues by saying that it shows the ongoing support for small, rural and norther municipalities across Ontario by providing stable funding needed to build long-term economic resilience.
