Ontario Health Officials Want All Schools Reopened Before Lifting Restrictions

Schools in Huron-Perth and Wellington County remain closed

 

Ontario health officials are asking the government to ensure all schools reopen before lifting other public health restrictions aimed towards halting the spread of COVID-19 and hospitalizations.

The chair of the Council of Ontario Medical Officers of Health have written to provincial health and education ministers to deploy extra measures to help get children back in school.

4 health units returned for in-person learning starting this morning. Huron-Perth and Wellington County schools remain closed for in-person learning.
