The provincial government will unveil a list later today of more than 300 pharmacies which will administer the newly approved AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
Health Minister Christine Elliot says the province has 190,000 doses of the vaccine which will expire on April 2nd.
A pilot project to deliver the vaccine to those aged 60-64 will be done in Toronto, Kingston and Windsor-Essex.
A successful plan of this administering will pave the way for other health regions to follow suite when they receive doses of AstraZenecas vaccine which only carries a shelf life of one month.
