Its been made official, Ontarians are heading the polls on February 27th.
Ontario Lt-Gov Edith Dumont has dissolved provincial parliament as requested by Premier Doug Ford which has triggered an election.
Party leaders will start their campaigns today with opposition far from pleased on the move. Liberal leader Bonnie Crombie says Ford is wasting $175 million for an early election instead of using that money to fix the provinces health care system and tackling the affordability crisis.
Ford is expected to launch his campaign in Windsor this morning at 10am.
