The Ontario Auto Dealer Association is reporting that the issue of auto theft has reached monstrous proportions with thousands of vehicles being stolen monthly.

The OADA says the figure has reached the point where the number taken in a month was previously the annual figure.

They say they been working with the Canadian Auto Dealers Association over the past two years.

A local Dealer said that his lost vehicles in 2022 were more than what they had lost in the past 20 years combined.
